The Order: 1886 announced for PS4 from Ready At Dawn

Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony's Worldwide Studios came on stage to announced the firm has "the largest first-party network"; 14 studios in total and new Ip are being worked on for PS4. 20 new IP will be released for the console in the first year. One exclusive to PS4 is Sony Santa Monica's and Ready At Dawn's game which looks to take place in the early 1900s. But has a Steampunk feel due to the weapons. The Order: 1886 is the name of it, and it was rumored a while back.

Set in the Victorian era of London, The Order: 1886 is the first original IP created by Ready At Dawn, and it takes place in an alternate history where technological advances take center stage in a battle against a powerful and ancient foe.

The game takes place nearly forty years after the Industrial Revolution, but unlike the actual one, the one in the game stems from mankind’s "desire to prevail in a centuries-old war."

In the game, you are a knight in an ancient order, and while it takes place in an alternate history, players will interact with real-world historical characters who will aid them in their quest.

The gameplay will also be seamless, as it there won't be "any visual discrepancies or breaks in continuity between gameplay and cinematic."

More on the game will be revealed in the future, so for now, enjoy the announcement video.
