Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode 2 has been confirmed for a July launch by Sega.

4Gamer reports that the game will hit PC and PS Vita on July 17, and has provided a slew of new details regarding the instalment, including a new race called the Duman. We’ve got images of them below.

There will also be two new weapon styles – Katana and Bullet Bow – as well as a new planet called Vobal.

On the day of launch gamers can also buy a “Premium Package vol. 2” edition of the game, which comes with bonus DLC codes and more. It’ll run you ¥6,279.

Oh, boy… I had SO much fun on the first Phantasy Star Online. I wish they would port this over in Europe. This would seriously motivate me to buy a Vita.
