Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag multiplayer images leaked

Sunday, 9th June 2013 23:15 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Ubisoft’s not having a good run with its E3 assets; a small batch of screenshots and artworks allegedly pertaining to Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag’s multiplayer mode have turned up.

The assets show some colourful and piratical characters as well as a couple of screens of action; notice the more natural, jungle-like environments in one of them. Reminds me of Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation’s swamp sections, which is no bad thing.

We can probably expect to see much more of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag at or after Ubisoft’s E3 conference. It’s headed to PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 at the end of October and early November, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions undated as yet.

Thanks, AllGamesBeta.

I would love this game, if only they had the balls to make it a new IP. I don’t think that the theme “assassins” fits at all with pirates.

Huh, they’re to quick for me. I’m yet to play Revelations. I think I will probably just give up on that series. Don’t wanna bother catching up.

@3 I agree that it didn’t need to be an Assassin’s Creed game (though pirates ARE cutthroats) & could have easily been released as a new IP (the world/period/lore is certainly rich enough for multiple games) but that’s not going to stop me from playing it if turns out to be a great game. I mean, look at those screenshots. Can you really say no to all that piratey goodness on the basis of a name alone?
