Banjo Kazooie 4, Mirror’s Edge 2 top Xbox One E3 list – rumour

Tuesday, 4th June 2013 06:37 GMT By Brenna Hillier

A list of games allegedly slated to appear on stage during Microsoft’s Xbox One conference at E3 2013 includes such gems as Dead Rising 3, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Killer Instinct and a new Brothers in Arms game.

The list surfaced on NeoGAF where the poster acknowledged that in this silly season their sources may not be trustworthy – but was accompanied by an image which has raised a few eyebrows.

The full list is below. You’ll note that several are either known to be in development or fully announced, while others like Halo: Spartan Assault; Mirror’s Edge 2 and Crackdown 3 may have leaked.

  • Halo 5
  • Killer Instinct
  • Banjo Kazooie 4: Grunty Land
  • Forza Motorsport 5
  • Quantum Break
  • Halo: Spartan Assault
  • Ryse
  • Fable 4
  • Crackdown 3
  • Fortnite
  • Dead Rising 3
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts
  • Battlefield 4
  • The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt
  • Dying Light
  • Prey 2
  • Homefront 2
  • Beyond Good & Evil 2
  • Mirror’s Edge 2
  • Rainbow 6: Patriots
  • Brothers in Arms
  • League of Legends

The poster also gave a list of games supposedly incoming from Capcom:

  • Dead Rising 3 (n Xbox Live exclusive from previousseries developer Capcom Vancouver)
  • Dragon’s Dogma 2 (a PlayStation 4 exclusive from the original development team)
  • Darkstalkers Reborn (a Wii U exclusive published by Nintendo but developed by Dimps and Yoshinori Ono)
  • Marvel vs Capcom 4 (a joint effort from Eighting and Capcom, said to cater to Microsoft’s new eSports toolset)
  • Megaman (headed to consoles and PC and developed by a high profile western team)
  • New IP from Capcom Vancouver
  • New IP from Ninja Theory

Some seem far more plausible than others. Of course, we have absolutely no reason to believe this isn’t all moonshine; tune into our E3 coverage next week to see if this furious speculation bears fruit.

I think the list is completely made up. I’m not saying these games won’t show up at e3 (most of them probably will), but this list doesn’t contain any new titles which makes it very hard to believe that it came from anywhere but someone’s mind.

Pfft, if Dead Rising 3 is exclusive to XBox then it looks like I’m not going to be playing it. Though, that’s going to be the case anyway until they treat Resident Evil and/or Devil May Cry right, so it’s a moot point.

Though if this Megaman thing turns out to be a proper continuation/reboot of the franchise (rather than Capcom trying to cash in on the brand and fucking up the franchise as has happened with so many other franchises lately), then I may start being more willing to buy Capcom games. Since the bullshit Capcom pulled on Megaman fans by canceling MML3 then blaming its cancellation on the fans was one of three reasons I stopped supporting Capcom.

I’m also glad to see Ninja Theory listed as making a new IP, since that makes it less likely that they’re continuing DmC.

Why would Dead Rising 3 be written like De3d and not D3ad? And the BK logo is as fake as it gets. I actually already point that out yesterday with a link.

Second time this week you guys have made a thread based on a neogaf thread that basically calls it out 4-5 posts in as fake.

In other words its not news or a rumour its just a fanboy’s E3 Bingo paper, had to rub my eyes just to check this website wasnt kotaku…
