Guacamelee DLC in the works, sequel being considered

Guacamelee will be the recipient of DLC, which is currently in the works, and developer DrinkBox Studios is considering a sequel.

Speaking with IGN, studio co-founder Graham Smith said the firm is “extremely thrilled” with the reception of the game, and that it had performed better than its previous games.

Currently, the studio is working on DLC for the game which IGN said will be revealed “in the coming days.”

DrinkBox Studios discussing working on a new IP and haven’t made “any decisions” yet on whether Guacamelee will receive a sequel or not, but it’s being considered.

Guacamelee topped the US combined charts and the PSN chart in Europe during the month of April.

    @1 There’s zero chance of that happening as it was part of Sony’s PubFund program. I highly recommend you play it if you get the chance though, it’s a fantastic game. Also try out their other Mutant Blob games, good too, but Guacamelee is far superior. Actually one of my favorite games in quite some time.
