Wolfenstein: The New Order won't "violate" the legacy of previous games

Wolfenstein: The New Order is being taken in a different direction than previous iterations in the series, but if you're worried whether or not Machine Games will remain true to the series' legacy: fear not.

The game won't violate the universe, according to the game’s creative director Jens Matthies, and there will also be a few returning characters as well.

While the team has moved away from the occult side of things, and is focusing instead on the technology, so don't be expecting the Veil to return.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is out on PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and next-gen systems during Q4 2013.
