Microsoft is commited to Japan

Despite low lifetime Xbox 360 sales in Japan and the regions loyalty to Nintendo and PlayStation, Xbox One will be launched in Japan.

Courtesy of MCV, Microsoft's Don Mattrick told a roundtable, "We're committed to Japan, we continue to build on our partnerships, we continue to build on our offerings for consumers inside of that space."

"We think it's an important market. And we'll continue building on the working investment that we've done over all these years." Mattrick added.

Details of the launch were not discussed but Mattick assured that news for each region will be revealed once key partners have been determined and market strategy built.
