Black Ops 2: Revolution DLC is free this free-to-play this weekend, new micro-DLC incoming

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch is lifting the paywall off its Revolution DLC pack this weekend, letting everyone play it for free for a few days. The game is also getting some more micro-DLC skins that will be chosen by fan vote.

MP1st reports that players can vote for their favourite gun skins through the game's 'Message of the Day' pop-up that appears when entering the online lobbies.

Voting will run between May 23-28 and the top two skins will be released as micro-DLC packs on May 29, together with new reticules and calling cards for your profile

Also, the game's Revolution DLC pack will be available for free from May 24 at 10am PDT until May 28 at 10am PDT. This includes all bundled maps and the Peacekeeper SMG weapon.
