Monday, 20th May 2013 08:35 GMT By Dave Cook

Nintendo has confirmed that it will hold a pre-E3 Nintendo Direct webstream, which will unveil the company’s next 3D Mario title, as well as the next instalments of Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.

Nintendo of America’s Twitter feed confirmed the feed recently:

The news comes as Nintendo confirmed it would not hold a traditional pre-E3 showcase this year, and according to this report, Mario Wii U will launch before October 2013.

What do you think it might involve? What would you like to see from all three games? Let us know below.

Thanks IGN.

In before any Wii-Utanic & doom and gloom.

I hope they sign with some 3rd parties, this is worse than the Nintendo 64 so far. Although I’d hope things will change around.

Nintendo have often said “We’re currently working on new games for our most popular franchises….Stay tuned for more info!” in the past.

To hell with this crap (I’m sorry but more Mario doesn’t mean shit to me)

Instead, gimme X and Bayonetta 2 ASAP! Seriously, any one of them looks more interesting than any shown next-gen game so far.

Looking forward to getting the goods early, without the pomp & circumstance. But will of course be following E3 closly too.
