Google+ Games to close at the end of June

Depopulated social network Google+ is shuttering its games service.

Replaced by a suite of mobile gaming services tied to the Google Play app store, Google+ Games will close on June 30.

A post by Google advises players to contact individual publishers to inquire about any remaining balance of credit; some will offer transfers or a grace period.

A list of contact addresses for affected publishers is available through the link above.

Games first went live on Google+ in August 2011, starting with a handful of titles like Dragon Age: Legends; Angry Birds; Bejeweled Blitz and Zynga Poker.

Thanks, Joystiq.
