In a release sent to VG247, Codemasters explained that GRID 2's drift events will be full of testing hairpins and turns inspired by Okutama in Japan. In each event you get three runs of technical tracks, and your goal is to chain together as many skilled drifts s possible from start to finish.

Touge events in Hong Kong will see players vying for overtake chances in gripping one-on-one battles. Dubai on the other hand is a haven of the street racing discipline, with a backdrop of blazing heat and skyscrapers to distract you from the asphalt.

Finally, Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi takes players back to classic circuit racing across a wide range of car classes.

GRID 2 launches on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 across North America on May 28, and across Europe from May 31.
