Meltdown London is a sports bar with a difference. Leave your real-world feats of athletic prowess at the door, because it’s dedicated purely to eSports.

Eurogamer reports that Meltdown London will open its doors on June 1st and will stream eSports matches and coverage seven days a week. It is the third Meltdown-branded bar to open worldwide, following sites in Paris and Berlin.

The bar is situated on 342 Caledonian Road, and it will also be offering a range of gaming and cocktails inspired by pop culture.

What do you think of the concept? Would you like to tan a few shandies at Meltdown while watching StarCraft 2 matches? Let us know below.

I’ll definitely be giving it a visit next time I’m in London. Would be cool to compare the atmosphere to that of a regular sports bar.

Who remembers The Killing Fields bar in London back in the late 90s near Warren Street? Lots of people playing Counter Strike there.
