Shadow Warrior re-imaging in the works at Flying Wild Hog, Devolver Digital

Thursday, 9th May 2013 20:04 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Flying Wild Hog has announced its working on a re-imaging of Shadow Warrior with Devolver Digital.

At the moment, there is only a teaser image up on the official website, showing a deceased yakuza.

The game was hinted at earlier this week when Devolver posted a Steam Greenlight page for “Blade Analyzer Pro,” and stated that Zilla Enterprises – the evil faction from the first game – was looking for “a sword known as the Nobitsura Kage.”

That’s all that’s really know at the moment, but you can keep up to date on this through the Steam link and Facebook for now.

Thanks, hives.

    Wow, never expected to see this one return. A decent game but nowhere near Blood 1 or Duke Nukem 3D.

    @6 Agreed. I would probably insta-buy a well done remake of Blood any day. Shadow Warrior I never quite got into, have to give it another try soon. It did seem to have a same sense of camp value.

    Even a re-release of Blood would be awesome. I still have my original CD but it has some issues with Win 7. A proper steam re-release with additional content / stuff = Insta-buy indeed.

    Just checked Monolith’s steam page. Only Fear 1-2 and Condemned 1. Where the hell are the rest of their games? Blood 1-2, No One Lives Forever… hell, even Condemned 2.

    @9: Here you go:

    Condemned 2 was never released for PC.

    Thank you but I only have access to Steam so, gotta wait for that release. Shame about Condemned 2. Even though it wasn’t on par with the original, it was still a decent game.
