Oculus Rift guillotine sim inspires a lot of headline puns

Tuesday, 7th May 2013 03:42 GMT By Brenna Hillier

The latest Oculus Rift delight to do the rounds is a guillotine sim. That’s right, friends; step right up and experience for yourself the horror of human execution as practised on actual people in France until the late 1970′s.

Called Disunion, the guillotine simulator was made in two days by a team of three developers for the Exile Game Jam.

If you have an Oculus Rift and wouldd like to tyr it yourself, you can download it here.

Otherwise, simply enjoy the footage below.

Well, guillotine is still used by taliban in Af-Pak region, however headshots certainly are easier.

Another trivia – It constituted a popular hangout spot for people in many places like London, where if my memory serves correctly, it was a weekly event.
Arent we glad to live in a modern society? :)

Well, you can stay signed in. Just press the log in button on the top right without correct user details. It will take you to a dedicated login page where you can tick the “stay signed in” option.
