Call of Juarez: Gunslinger’s claim to fame is that it brings together the most notorious outlaws of the Wild West. Today’s assets highlight Silas Greave through the medium of threatening song.

Ubisoft sent us a lovely bit of history about the songwriters who helped forge the legends of the Wild West, turning man into myth, in order to introduce the song below. It comes as a threat from Silas Greaves, who is out for revenge and apparently cries bullets. Hardcore.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 22.

There are men who fear legends But a man legends fear
He’s the four-holstered reaper Cryin’ bullets for tears
When a drought comes in Justice Bullets make good rain
When the heart ache has dried out Only blood heals the pain
There’s a time for greavin’ And a time to just pray
There’s a time for forgivin’ But it’s not for today
You can hide sins from the gavel You can drown them in rum
When Silas Greaves find you, There’s nowhere to run
And time goes too slowly For the gunslinger’s eye
Till he’s buried his promise There’s no time to cry
There’s a time for greavin’ And a time to just pray
When Silas Greaves finds you It’s the time you must pay
