LostWinds is a franchise Frontier would "very much like" to revisit

The LostWinds franchise may be revisited in the future once Frontier Developments gets Elite: Dangerous and Coaster Crazy Deluxe out the door.

Speaking with GameReactor, Frontier's COO David Walsh said the team would "very much" like to create another game in the franchise.

"Obviously we all love LostWinds at Frontier and we would very much like to do another franchise," said Walsh. "We're very much thinking about how we can move the franchise forward, because we think it deserves a much grander and a more epic scale of setting because there's so many more stories to tell from that world.

"We're all very enthusiastic about it and we would very much like to do another game in the franchise."

Keep hope alive, then, but in the meantime, there's always Elite: Dangerous slated for early 2014 and Coaster Crazy Deluxe on Wii U with a date TBA.
