Thomas Was Alone developer planning on a PS4 release

It looks like Mike Bithell's new game will release on PlayStation 4.

In a series of tweets collated by Gematsu, Bithell outed his plans to bring his next game, codenamed Project2, to PS4.

"I do believe Project2 is looking good enough to show to Sony tomorrow. You’ll know the success of this meeting in a year, when you are / are not playing it on your PS4," he said.

Later, he indicated the meeting had gone well, saying it was "really good" talking with Sony's team, and adding "If you’re an indie, get chatting with Sony now.”

As an aside, Bithell said the new Dual Shock 4 controller “feels tight, suits my hands, and is rather snazzy”.

We don't know what kind of game the Thomas Was Alone developer is working on, but it looks like it may contain some element of user-generated content.

Thomas Was Alone is available on Mac, PC, PS3 and Vita. It's highly minimalist and has drawn praise for its strong emphasis on narrative.
