Rayman Legends video has a special rhythm to it

Thursday, 2nd May 2013 14:04 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Rayman Legends has a new video available, showing a rhythm-based level set to Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger”, only played in Mariachi form. I think I like this version better. Rayman Legends is slated for release on PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 August 30 in Europe and September 1 in North America. Thanks, Gematsu.

Ubisoft has sent over some screenshots, which we’ve posted below.

Well that was incredible. Huge fan of Origins, the Dia Del Los Muertos theme of this level may just well make Legends my new favourite.

Origins was pretty damn perfect. I absolutely adore it. My panties are beyond moist right now!

    OMG!
Glad it’s not a WiiU exclusive.

Ubisoft has sent over three shots of the level, and I’ve added them in.

This is kind of dumb but it bugs me that you’ll say the background music has a Mariachi style and also Ubisoft has added a Día de los Muertos feel to the level, however the music has more of a flamenco feel and this music style is more associated to Spain than Mexico….please get your cultural references right!

#5 yep SforeroR is right, this is not “Eye of the Tiger” in Mariachi (mexican) form, but in flamenco (spanish) form. (disclaimer: I’m spanish)

But after living for a while in Berlin and seeing supposedly spanish food supermarkets with 90% of the products being burritos and such, I understand it must be a common mistake (even though Mexico and Spain both have very distinctive folkore, and same with Argentina and its tango)
