Castle of Illusion score comes courtesy of Perfect Dark composer

The composer best known among gamers for his work on Rare games is behind the score for the new Castle of Illusion remake.

Grant Kirkhope outed his role in the project on Twitter.

Kirkhope has a number of gaming soundtrack credits to his name, including Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong, Banjo-Tooie and Viva Pinata.

Although we're yet to see much of it, Castle of Illusion is described as “a complete re-imagining” of the 16-bit classic platformer, and will release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in northern summer.

Thanks, Joystiq.
