Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep out next month

Thursday, 2nd May 2013 18:26 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

The next bit of DLC for Borderlands 2 is called Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep and it will be released in June.

The name of the DLC was earlier today outed via a shot of Gearbox Software’s lead writer Anthony Burch, lounging on a couch in front of a poster of sorts.

The image appeared on Twitter, but was removed. IGN grabbed the screencap taken by Stealthy Box.

The forth expansion will launch June 25 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 and will be available for $9.99/800 MS Points, If you have the Season Pass, it will be no charge.

This is the last of the season pass DLC?

*Lets out a huge sigh of disappointment*

Nothing against Borderlands 2 its a great game, but I find Tiny Tina the most annoyingly aggravating character and voice in the entire game. I hate that character, and dislike pretty much everything that involves her.
Not been too impressed with the themes chosen for BL2 DLC so far. Was hoping for something more like Secret Armory or Zombie Island for this last piece of season pass DLC.. Oh well, I’ve paid for it now, guess i’ll have to deal with it.

Note to self: Never do season passes again.

@2 – If you’re disappointed with BL2′s Season Pass, you’re right, you should stay away from them all together. It’s easily one of the best in the business, so nothing will ever be good enough for you.

#3 The DLC for borderlands 2 has been completely lackluster so far, especially compared to the DLC for the first game. This DLC feels ‘empty’, and its because it was all outsourced to the same team that fast-tracked and cut corners on Aliens Colonial Marines, which gearbox is currently being SUED over.

#2 is in correct, the DLC from the first game was just BETTER and felt like actual expansions of the game’s world and story. Borderlands 2 DLC feels like tacked on DLC spin off garbage.

I’m sorry. Anyone who thinks Tiny Tina is racist needs to grow a sense of humor. Jesus Christ, it’s like people just sit around all day waiting to be offended by things. I swear, it’s like the morons who said Deus Ex was racist.

Everyone can acknowledge that she’s barely even RACIAL, let alone racist.

To say she’s racist suggests there’s ill intent behind her character design. Gearbox has come out and said they have no such intent, so if you read it as racist, take a look at how YOU interpret things.

@2,4 Agree about the DLC. First and last season pass for me.

    @4 Why is she racist?

Only racist I’ve seen in a video game was Herbert Moon. I guess since zombies ate him (spoilers) no one gives a shit??

how can anyone call tiny tina racist? what has she done or say that’s derogatory to any other race? did she call someone the n-word? did she make fun of mexicans, asians, white people? Im not black but i grew up in the hood and had many black friends so I talk like them, does that make me racist? none of my black friends think i am. We dont know her entire story, maybe she grew up in the hood like i did.

@Rusty, i use the very same online alias for a few different online accounts because i love that show; but knowing that in some small way in the universe it gives you and i something in common…

Regardless, how in what way do you think Tiny Tina to be racist? You think she’s the “WORST CHARACTER IN THE FRANCHISE” and that’s all fine and good because opinions are like assholes… Personally i think she’s right up there with Clap Trap in terms of my favorite franchise characters.. but racist? Excluding all DLC I’ve played the heck out of Borderlands 1 and especially 2, been around Tina a lot, and i can recall not one racially derogatory statement from her. So i find that hard to believe.

What i DON’T find hard to believe, is a middle of the night keyboard warrior teenager/20 something gamer with internet access and too much time on their hands spouting off nonsense for the sake of spouting nonsense.

That’s not Anthony Burch pictured, it’s Gearbox PR guy Steve Gibson.
