Call of Duty: Ghosts – ghosts are real, according to Activision

Wednesday, 1st May 2013 15:36 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Activision has updated its Call of Duty:Ghosts teaser site with the words “The Ghosts are Real” splashed across the artwork.

Yesterday, a promotional poster from GameStop pretty much confirmed what we already knew: the game would carry the Ghosts subtitle and it would be released on November 5 – which has been confirmed by Amazon listings.

The game is supposedly in the works for PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and the next Xbox console with a handheld version likely.

The Infinity Ward shooter is now on Facebook as well, confirming the name of the title.

The official Twitter account also calls the game “he next generation of Call of Duty”.

We expect a press release to arrive in our mail with further details later this afternoon – or once California wakes up.

It’s better than a subtitle like MW4. I’m giving it the benefit of doubt. The new cast and the new engine, once put together might help a good deal but I think the setting might mostly stay the same albeit with a black ops twist (You are one of the special and secret guys and so on)

Spoiler: The reveal trailer will have lots of Boom in it.
