Ubisoft has cleared up the situation surrounding Watch Dogs’ extra goodies.

Slight confusion shrouded the game’s release announcement yesterday, but we got there in the end. The additional digital content will arrive post-launch and is set to feature an extra hour of play.

“We can confirm that customers who will purchase Watch Dogs on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will be able to download 60 minutes of additional gameplay via the PlayStation Network after the game’s launch,” a Ubisoft spokesperson clariefied. “As of now, we have no more details to share.

Will this help swing your decision when buying Watch Dogs? Let us know.

Thanks, Eurogamer.

I hope they show a video showing the extra graphical detail and other features you get with the ps4 version of the game.

When Sony is getting so many exclusive stuff for PS4 (This, Destiny and more), it makes you wonder what MS has in store… If anything, this makes the Respawn exclusivity for Xbox sound a bit more plausible or at least more expectable.

Exclusive content never really makes any side better then the other, really.
It all sounds important while we all read it all in news articles like this but in reality no one really cares.

COD DLC Maps, AC3 PS3 Exclusive hour content etc hardly made a dent after release of the games. It was just forgotten about.

    Who gives a fuck.

I think when it’s a matter of a potentially 20 hour long game, does one extra hour really make a difference to the purchase choice?

@1 I think you’ve been looking at it all this time. The gameplay that is shown was from the pc version, no way that’s running on the current gen, and that pc version is problably also how the next gen version looks.
