Bioshock Infinite DLC could feature “a new AI companion character”

Leaky LinkedIn has a snippet of information for us again. The CV of Michael Shahan, Senior Animator at 2K Games, has revealed Bioshock Infinite’s first round of DLC is set to feature a new AI companion.

As outed on StickStills, Shahan writes about how he has been “providing animation and R&D for a new AI companion character” on the project. Perhaps Daisy Fitzroy is going to feature more prominently, or a new character could stumble into the world of Columbia?

Lets us know your thoughts in the comments section (beware of spoilers!).

Very much looking forward to the dlc for this, this game was very enjoyable, I enjoyed a game as much as I have enjoyed bioshock infinite for a long time…

How about a less nonsensical ending? I’d be tempted to buy DLC for that.

I would be in for the DLC if they included the deleted horse scene, the playful Elizabeth scene in the shop (Abraham Lincoln head, etc.) and an extended ending too. Anyway, anything giving more life, exploration, activity to a wonderful set as Columbia would do it for me instead of new missions, AI companions… even trivial activities would do it, the point is taking more advantage of Columbia and its surroundings. Alternative, “colloquial” missions would be amazing too. Sneaking, steal something, sabotage something, rescue some slave…
