DUST 514 video gives you a look at gameplay mechanics, battles 

With DUST 514 launching next month, CCP has released a look at some of the gameplay you can can expect to see in the game, so VG247's Sam Clay decided to throw something together for you.

DUST 514 promises "an ever-progressing game," with new features and upgrades rolling out "for years to come."

“Reaching this point has required many years, hundreds of CCP employees, and the engagement of millions of players who contributed fantastic feedback during the beta process,” said Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, CEO of CCP.

“Now we start the real journey, which, decades from now, we will look back on with astonishment at all we accomplished. The EVE Universe will outlive us all.”

The PS3 FPS exclusive is fully integrated with EVE Online's massive persistent universe of New Eden, where players can engage in cross-platform battles on far-flung planets with countless environmental combinations, as they fight for control their resources.

It also contains 32-player battles, which each mercenary customizable with "lethal dropsuits, skills and weapons," and the ability to deploy armed and armored vehicles on land and in the with the immortal starship pilots of EVE Online to conquer New Eden, one skirmish at a time.

DUST 514 launches on May 14.
