Zack Zero coming to Steam next week

Friday, 26th April 2013 00:49 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Former PlayStation 3 exclusive Zack Zero is launching on Steam at the end of the month.

Released on PSN last year, the PC version will come with improvements such as control responsiveness, better combat, more animations, better graphics, and the “annoying messages are removed,” according to to the developer.

The platformer makes its way to PC on April 29, or April 30 for those of us living slightly in the future in the Antipodes. Check out the trailer below, or head to Steam to pre-order.

Wtf is this s**t!? Why do some developers think that PC users will ever play console crap!?

Because there are some PC users who are actually passionate gamers with wide horizons and don’t call console games crap.

I for one would look forward to a decent platformer. And had a lot of fun playing the new Giana Sisters. Of course… this one doesn’t seem as promising.

    I’m absolutely with #2, here.

Hate PCs? You’re an imbecile and you’re missing out on modding, tesssellation, higher resolution graphics, and so on.

Hate consoles? You’re a buffoon and you’re missing out on exclusives like Ratchet & Clank, Little Big Planet, Uncharted (I’m not a fan, but it certainly has fans), Dust: An Elysian Tail (until recently), and so on.

Hate portables? You’re a goon, and missing out on some of the only Japanese stuff we’re still seeing.

I’m really irritated by anyone who pulls this crap. And console gamers can be as bad as PC owners (sadly). They’re idiots. I welcome console games arriving on the PC, it broadens the kinds of games we have available to us. Diversity is NEVER a bad thing.

    —Edit—

Plus, I’m tired of sociopathic PC gamers who’re against console style games on their platform. I welcome them. Not only because they’re fun, but because they’re developed by people who realise that not everyone has perfect 20/20 vision. I’m sick of PC gamers pushing for microscopic interfaces that even they can only barely see.

I’m just tired of stupid people in general, I guess. Of which there are too many.

Looks quite cool. No longer owning a PS3 I might actually give this a go on the PC.
