Friday, 26th April 2013 12:33 GMT By Dave Cook

Nintendo will launch its Virtual Console game catalogue on Wii U across the UK tomorrow. The full roster of initial games has been revealed.

The games are:

  • Super Mario World
  • F-Zero
  • Excitebike
  • Mario’s Super Picross
  • Ice Climber
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Punch-Out!!

All downloads are 60hz American editions, aside from Picross. The NES titles will cost £3.49 to while the SNES titles will set you back £5.49.

However, if you already own any of these games on Wii, you can transfer them over to your Wii U free of charge, or buy them at a discounted price of 99p/£1.49.

So, do you see anything you like?

Thanks ONM.

    Too much, Nintendo.
NES games should be 60p/$1 & those older SNES games no more than £1.60/$2.50

    ^Agree also.

£5.49 for SNES games I’ve bought numerous times already is steep. Especially in the day and age of app stores. In fact I’ll probably give them all a miss all together unless they come down in price…

Do the Wii U and 3DS share the games from the virtual console?

60Hz, yeah, so they say. But will the next batch of titles be? Highly unlikely. But we’ll see…
