Nice offering … canceling Lightning Returns would be a good move too to cut down losses … I mean even if it pulls off, it is still related to the poor story ” ambigious ” of FF-XIII .. Lightning is a heavenly designed character .. however a character alone doesn’t make an amazing final fantasy XIII … if I have one word to judge FF XIII ..that word would be ” DISCONNECTED “

@2: Like just about everything made by Toriyama, the FF13 games might have been fine if they were a completely brand new IP and had no connection to Final Fantasy whatsoever. The FF13 games strayed way too far from the things that make the franchise what it is. It’s like making a Terminator film set in a medieval world of swords and magic.

It’s a little bit of a shame to me too, because before FF13 released, and before Toriyama ruined another character and franchise as part of putting Lightning on a pedestal, I was actually looking forward to both FF13 and Lightning as a character. Now, I’m not going to say Lightning “sucks,” but Toriyama’s antics have completely turned me off to the character.
