Destiny developer Bungie has released a new batch of concept art for its multi-format shooter, showing off strange new worlds, scenes of destruction and faction outfits.

It is what it is: concept art. It’s a Long Way to Tipperary …

I think you can sum up Destiny with this single gif:

    The concept arts are great.
P.S : They are always rather good, even for Crysis and MW !

I love the art style, but concept art is concept art. More games need space ponchos, though.

I think the artist is Kekai Kotaki former art lead for Arenanet

this artstyle , when translated to your typical mmorpg experience, will look just like any other mmorpg out there with aliens.

Kotaki did make some amazing artworks and concepts for Guild Wars 2, but this … isn’t close to it.

    I don’t blame him though.

The entire project sounds incredibly uninteresting, the designers at Bungie aren’t the most talented folks, most of what we’ve seen looks totally bland, especially the level-design. But that’s to be expected, that’s what they are known for.

Space Ponchos are awesome, but all this is just useless work, most concept arts are wasted on the FPS genre. What good is the look of my character if I can’t see him the whole time?
