Strike Suit Infinity due this month

A wave-based spin-off to Strike Suit Zero has been announced for release later this month.

According to Blue's News, Born Ready Games described Infinity as a "wave-based score-chaser"; you'll be facing down progressively more difficult waves of enemies and fighting for survival.

There's no win state, but there are leaderboards, and chaining scores is essential for mastering them, apparently.

Between rounds you can pick up reinforcements, which range from Interceptors and Fighters all the way up to Cruisers and Frigates. This lends an element of strategy, I guess.

If this seems a pretty quick turn-around on Strike Suit Zero, you're not wrong; it uses the same setting and basic gameplay, so it probably didn't take a heck of a long time to make. Then again, it doesn't cost a heck of a lot - just $7, and you don't need the core game to play it. Expect it on Steam on April 30.
