sigh…i don’t get it. the mp of the first lp was awesome! i loved it. it was a bit clunky, sure, but it had SO much potential. postgrab on pirate fortress or on some of the more vertical maps was insane fun. i was addicted to that game. why didn’t they just improve on all the awesome stuff that has been there already? why making gears of dead space planet out of this? wont judge this game before playing it but what i am seeing here does not give me hope. it is a shame. it could have been a truly great new capcom ip, was a great western/ japanese artdesign mix, great universe, interesting and fun gameplay…but they arent brave enough these days. sell out is a bitch.

Yep. I remember having one of the best moments in gaming with the first LP’s multiplayer mech battles. Now it’s just um… self-explanatory.

^indeed…and i seriously do not get it. lp1 was one of the best new ip’s this gen imo and since then they seem to just want to ruin it. it makes no sense to me. the first one did sell ok too. first they made a coop only game out of this with the sequel, trying to turn it into a monster hunter lost planet, now a gears dead space lost planet. why couldn’t it just stay lost planet? it was awesome on its own. pisses me off really. was so hyped for 2 but it turned out to be my biggest disappointment this gen…
