Call of Duty: Ghosts for PS3 listed by Tesco

Call of Duty:Ghosts box art has appeared through Tesco and the placeholder states it will be released in December. We say placeholder, because traditionally, CoD games are released in November. Since the listing appeared, a Target pre-order advert has appeared with a release date set for November 5 - which is more plausible.

Back in March, it was reported that the Infinity Ward title would be skipping out on the Modern Warfare 4 moniker for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Phantoms was also supposedly kicked around as a subtitle.

It will still be set in the Modern Warfare series, but supposedly is set in a future with modern tenants - according to the earlier report.

The report also said the game would only be available on PC and next-generation consoles which we found a bit odd. The box art and Target ad states differently though, confirming our hunch it will be released on both current and next-gen - which is just common sense really.

The announcement of the game will supposedly be made on or near May 1.

Have a look at the box art below, as Tesco has pulled it from its site.

Thanks, OPM.
