Beyond: Two Souls script is 2,000 pages long

Tuesday, 23rd April 2013 23:36 GMT By Brenna Hillier

An image has turned up purportedly showing the 2,000 page script for Beyond: Two Souls; EGM is one of a number of outlets that received a copy, although it’s totally blank. It doesn’t look like the kind of thing you should read in bed, for fear of concussion if you drop it on your face. Page count isn’t a very good measure of how long a complex a game is, unfortunately; word count is a bit better. We know Dishonored had 40,000 words of text and 90,000 of dialogue, for example; a short novel is about 40,000 words. Beyond: Two Souls is due exclusively on PlayStation 3 in October.

Thanks, manamana, Jessi.

    Sony, you guys have balls!
Love u lot for this.. Don’t ever change.

By the way, on average there’s 250 words per page so if there’s 2,000 pages there’s around 500,000 words which demolish Dishonared.

@3 – Not hard if you’re inspired. It’s not like I haven’t seen novels that were longer.
