Sony has announced its European PS Plus content for May. Subscribers can look forward to free downloads of Hitman: Absolution, Catherine and more.

We received a run-down of the content this afternoon, confirming that from May 1 you will be able to download Hitman: Absolution, Catherine and Malicious on PS3 for free.

PS Vita owners can also grab free downloads of Sine Mora from May 8, and Velocity Ultra HD from May 15.

There you have it folks, short and hopefully sweet. Does any of the above take your fancy? Let us know below.

@1 – which is it? free games? or cross-game chat? You can’t have ‘em both. You know that.

(Still trying to get my head around why someone would want to chat to someone else playing a different game)

I’ve been holding off buying Catherine for fucking AGES. So this rocks. Another fantastic update!

@KAP: Remember these at not free games. They are basically rentals which are only playable as long as your PS+ subscription is active :)

EDIT: That said, PS+ is a great service with excellent value! XBL is a rip-off in comparison.

ok i think i’m starting to believe PS+ is sick!

we pay £40 a year for nice service and free games, yet the online is free.

yet people pay £50 for xbox live just to play games online:/
