Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U patch is live: adds off-TV mode, cross-region play

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate developer Capcom has released a Wii U patch that lets players hunt beasts on their GamePad controller only, and play with adventurers from other territories.

Nintendo of Europe tweeted out the good news this morning.

    When is the next MH blog coming?

    I was looking at Monster Hunter 3 on howlongtobeat, because I just got it for Wii, and the average playtime is 185 hours(!)

    @2 Cheers :) I’m not sure, I haven’t had time to play much more tbh, which really sucks. My console is packed away ahead of moving back to Scotland too. Perhaps once I’m settled down again.

    so the number one reason ‘i buy nintendo games because they are finished and dont need a patch’ is done now… yah yah yah…. another reason to buy the nintendo, gone outta the window.
