Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition was expected to be released on disc April 30, but it has been delayed to June 4 according to Major Nelson. The tweet he posted said the reason for the delay was to “include the very latest content.” The disc version was to include Update 9 which was recently released, and it wasn’t said whether the delay was to include Update 10 which is in the works now. We’ll let you know when we hear more about it.

I don’t see whats so special about this game seriously. It just looks like legos or something where you have a blank canvas and you can build what you want. I seen some videos and quite frankly I’m surprised at how many people out there have good imaginations but it just seems more like a chore than fun. I thought the same thing with LBP too.

@1 It’s addictive nature, community building and endless supply of mods are what keep people invested well after they feel they have done all they can in the singleplayer mode.
