Aliens: Colonial Marines patch re-released on Steam after being pulled

Aliens: Colonial Marines received a patch yesterday from Gearbox Software on Steam, only to be pulled due to problems reported such as missing downloadable content and and not being able to use ini tweaks due to anti-cheating changes. Gearbox said it pulled the patch until it could figure out what was causing the corrupt DLC error, and later on in t he night it re-released the patch stating that the reported problems had been solved. The firm said on its forums it "continuing to work on updates for all platforms, including the hot fix support mentioned at PAX," and that more details would be released once finalized. The patch which was re-released added a toggle for the film grain filter and increased security to address cheats and exploits.

Thanks, Blue.
