Portal 2: Atlas and P-Body figures break cover at toy convention

Tuesday, 9th April 2013 11:33 GMT By Dave Cook

Portal 2′s robo-chums Atlas and P-Body were being made into figurines over a year ago by manufacturer ThreeA, and then quietly fell off the radar. Fret not, as they’re still in development and recently popped up at a toy convention.

Tomopop spotted ThreeA’s figures at the Beast Kingdom Toys convention in Taiwan recently, and posted a photo of them too.

ThreeA also showed off a line of Lost Planet 3 toys as well. You can check out a gallery of all the toys they had on show here.

What do you think?

Thanks Destructoid.

I think that, like anything else, they won’t be for sale in the UK unless you are willing to pay extortionate shipping and possible import fees on top.

Just last night I found the valve store, so much awesome in one shop.. added four items, was going to check out but only shipping option there was came to more than the value of the products. Sigh.

I mean it isn’t just me right? There are no decent gift stores UK based, it all has to be imported.

    That is unfortunate, #1.

Sometimes it’s worth it, though. I like having such paraphernalia around. They make for great talking pieces, and it’s just pleasant to have familiar faces from much loved games around. I’ve picked up quite a lot of figures from overseas, from Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII) to Legion (Mass Effect 2).

So I enjoy it and I think it’s worth it. Still, it can be unpleasantly pricey. Shopping around though can help when it comes to shipping costs, as some places have a better infrastructure for International shipping and thus their items are priced accordingly.
