Red Orchestra 2 free on Steam this weekend

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is by the guy who said that Call of Duty is ruining a generation of shooter players. If you've been raised on a diet of Activision's offerings, you may not want to participate in the free Steam weekend for Red Orchestra 2, actually, because it's unrelentingly unforgiving; hugely focused on realism and teamwork; and has a learning curve so steep you'll probably tip over backwards a few times on the way up - as opposed to Call of Duty's fun-from-the-get-go approach. However, if you master it, you can proudly call yourself a skilled gamer indeed, so get out there, kids, and remember to keep your head d- oh, never mind, you've got another one. If you like what you see, it's on sale for $3, which is shamefully cheap.

Thanks, Destructoid.
