Super T.I.M.E Force gameplay video: retro shooter action

Super T.I.M.E Force was featured at this year's IGF during GDC 2013. During the event, VG247's Sam Clay caught up with designer, Kenneth Young, who showed-off the retro shooter.

Super T.I.M.E Force started out in development during the Toronto Game Jam - known by those who enter it as ToJam - but has since been selected by Microsoft to debut on XBLA and be further developed for the platform.

In the game, the T.I.M.E. team, which stands for Temporal Inevitability Manipulation Experts, are an elite squad of "time-traveling badasses" who jump through time to "kill stuff that never should've happened."

Such "stuff" includes covert alien invasions, Nazis, boy bands, etc. The only problem with this, is jumping through time can alter pre-existing events.

It sounds amazing, and we'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure.
