Borderlands 2 OS-X updated at last, on sale

Mac port developer Aspyr has advised that it has released an update for the OS-X version of Borderlands 2. The patch adds leaderboards, achievements and "more importantly, multiplayer co-op with their Game Center friends". Hopefully that last one means the much-touted cross-platform compatibility with PC is also back, having vanished thanks to a Gearbox update to the Windows version last year. Aspyr has also made DLC available as in-game purchases, and is offering 50% off the shooter RPG sequel on the Mac App Store.
