Rain screenshots and concept art released out of GDC

Sony has released a set of screenshots and concept art for Rain, the single-player action-adventure title in the works at JAPAN Studio, PlayStation C.A.M.P., and Acquire Corp.

The downloadable title stars a boy who chases after a girl with an invisible silhouette. After discovering that the girl is being hunted by ghostly creatures, he journies into the mysterious world of Rain to save her.

He too becomes invisible, and must learn to navigate through the unknown, using the rain to guide and protect him.

Players control the invisible boy whose silhouette can only be seen when they are standing in the rain. As players run under overhangs or move objects to create cover, the boy disappears from view; alternatively they must pick-up items to distract enemies and become “visible” again.

It's out later this year, and you can look over the trailer from GDC through the link.
