Ragnarok Odyssey Ace headed to PS3, Vita in Japan

Wednesday, 3rd April 2013 02:12 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Ragnarok Odyssey is being remade for PlayStation 3 and Vita with new story content and all DLC. Gematsu reports the new version is a ‘complete reworking’, will release in Japan in July, and is called Ragnarok Odyssey Ace to differentiate it from the-Vita exclusive original. The action RPG came west late last year; no word on a localisation for this re-release as yet.

Hmmm… I have heard this game’s name from time to time, but since it was Vita exclusive, I didn’t pay any attention. Now that there’s a PS3 version incoming, I should check it out.

I don’t pay attention to portable games, because I don’t play portable systems. I actually kinda hate them.

That said, I may end up having to buy a Vita sometime soon, since I’ve recently started working on something that requires me to sit around and do absolutely nothing for hours before they utilize my services. But otherwise, if I am home, I can’t imagine playing something on a dinky ass little screen when I’ve got an HDTV my PS3 is hooked up to.

@4 Your opinion on portable gaming intrigues me, but the screen isn’t so little when its right in front of you. @5 Yay :) what about PortStation Vita :)
Anyway i am so glad the PS Vita is getting more games locked to japan :(
