Deus Ex: Human Defiance not a game, trademark repurposed for April Fool's

February's Deus Ex: Human Defiance trademark isn't for a new game of any kind, Eidos Montreal has confirmed on the Deus Ex Facebook page. "The Human Defiance name was registered on the off-chance it we might need it, but it was decided later that it wouldn't be used," the post noted. The developer posted an April Fools Day trailer for a retro-style game of the same name, which you can check out through the break.
