Borderlands 2 developer Gearbox Software has outlined a new title update for its RPG-shooter that expands your vault hunter’s inventory.

The free update was discussed in a post on the Gearbox forum which stated, “There will be inventory/backup/storage increases in the update. More ammo SDU’s will be available in the black market along with Eridium maximums increased.”

You can expect a full list of patch notes later this week.

Meanwhile. we’ve got details of the Borderlands 2 level cap raise, and next story DLC straight out of PAX East. Check out the facts here.

Still never picked this one up. Considering the ridiculous amount of money I’d have to spend on DLC, I’m just going to do what I did with the first one and wait for the GOTY edition.

@1 Well depends what platform you’re buying it for. I bought it on PC at launch for £21.99 and the season pass for £15.99 so all in all, I’ve not spent over the odds and I’ll have got every piece of content for it including the upcoming stuff. Considering how much time you can ‘waste’ on it, you’re getting much better value for money than almost any game released recently. That’s my honest opinion with a rather paltry 150 hours clocked on it by comparison to some.

@2, £26 at launch, £7.50 on the season pass.

    No complaints here either.

@3 Ok, that’s bloody cheap on the season pass. I was chuffed with GetGames, but I figured I’d missed a solid discount somewhere ;)
