Tales producer teases several surprises this year
Here’s a little blip we missed from today’s Tales of Graces f release date announcement; on the PlayStation Blog Tales series producer Hideo Baba said we can expect “a Tales of filled year” and that he has “a lot of surprise announcements lined up”. The next announced western release for the series is Tales of Xillia, which already has a sequel in Japan.
Thanks, Gematsu.

Hopefully they are bringing over some of those Vita titles they have been releasing in Japan.

Its a given, really. The are constantly porting ps3 games to vita. It wouldn’t be surprising to see vita games from them.

Such a sad RPG series… What other boring anime-ish titles can they bring? I thought Xillia was a welcome change in direction, in the art department especially, but in the end it wasn’t.

@3 – They haven’t ported any of the PS3 titles to Vita in the Tales series.
In fact, there are two Vita Tales coming up. They’re updated ports of earlier Tales games, not PS3 titles.

@7 – I would love it if they did that, especially as a digital download for the PSN, because 1) I want to play it and 2) I’d love to watch a certain anti-digital download person on here lose his shit about it.
On the other hand, he may just see this as a game for pedophiles anyway, since it’s Japanese.
