Rock Band’s last DLC track will be Don McLean’s American Pie
Harmonix named Don McLean’s American Pie will be the last track added to the Rock Band library, on April 2. Harmonix announced the swansong at its PAX East party today, as reported by Polygon. The developer announced its intention to cease releasing new DLC last month, and after 275 weeks and more than 4,000 tracks, it’s hard to complain.

I don’t. And it’s really not my fault. The radio stations and school dance DJ’s ran it into the ground for me. Now, I get a bit angry when it comes on. I have to change it quickly. I should probably talk to a shrink about that.
