Project Versus J teaser site opens, crosses Dragon Ball, One Piece and more
Namco Bandai has launched a teaser site for a new fighting game called Project Versus J, and it appears to star a number of Shonen Jump regulars. The site includes art of Dragon Ball’s Goku, and Monkey D from One Piece.

The site confirms that the game is exclusive to PS3 and PS Vita, and that it doesn’t yet have a release date. More as we have it.
Thanks AGB.

@1,
There is a pretty solid chance it will. These characters are famous worldwide and a similar 3ds Game is also getting localised.

I remember games that were pretty much like Project Versus J with the same characters- only in Japan:
-Battle Stadium D.O.N
-Jump Superstars
-Jump Ultimate Stars
-Shounen Magazine VS Shounen Sunday
And thats because of cross-licensing issues…
whats the name of that 3DS game?
Please don’t say Project X Zone…( because thats a Namco BandaixCapcomxSega crossover for which the companies hold their respective rights in each territory- hence are not “scattered” around like in the case above)

@Yeah, I was referring to Project X Zone, but this case is also special imo, as Bamco already has rights for many jump characters, so I am confident that localization will happen.
@Dave,
You may want to correct that its PS3 and Vita, not PS . That has be dead for years you know

Let’s see how the game plays. This reminds me of Battle Stadium D.O.N and Jump SuperStars which never got released outside of Japan.
