Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn beta Phase 2 will implement support for gamepad controllers

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn will allow more testers in the beta come April, and during Phase 2, support for gamepad controllers will be implemented. Word on this comes from the latest producer letter which you can read here. Phase 2 of the beta, Yoshida says, will kick off in early April. There are currently 100,000 testers trying things out, and if you want in on Phase 2, be sure to sign up here for your chance at a spot. Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn's Phase 3 of the beta will go public and PS3 users will be able to join on the action. Both versions will be released later this year. Thanks, Siliconera.
