Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut announced for Wii U
Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut has been announced for Wii U by Square Enix.
Players can use the GamePad to perform touch-screen hacking, participate in interactive map editing and augmented sniping, toss grenades and perform many other neural hub enhancements.
It comes with Miiverse functionality which will allow users to access to developer commentaries and in-game guides, and the core title comes alongsideThe Missing Link and Tong’s Rescue DLC which have been “ntegrated seamlessly into the narrative flow” of the main game.
Some of boss battles have been overhauled, gameplay as been balanced and AI visuals are more crisp, and the entire game has been given “striking visual improvements,” making it the “best looking and most immersive” version of the game.
The game popped up on Amazon yesterday.
The Director’s Cut will be a Wii U release only and is out “soon.”

“…the entire game has been given “striking visual improvements.””
Yup, one more justification why I will buy a WiiU in the future.

Oh yeah the WiiU version gets the urine filter toned down but do they do this for the console or PC version(I know there are mods to remove it)

When was the last time a Nintendo console has ever gotten a Western RPG?

@11
The game has yellow or gold on everything much like Fallout 3 with the green color overlayed throughout the game.
The PC version there is a mod that removes it which makes the game look that much better.

@12 Bah, I don’t mind you want to ruin the artistic vision of the designers by modding the game, but calling it “Urine Filter” is a bit disrespectful for those who created the game.

“Some of boss battles have been overhauled” This is all that realy kept this game from being good to me. Visually the screenshots look very much how it did on my ps3 when I played it. I really don’t see a difference.
But other then that, reworked bosses and a interactive gadget(Controller) that has more of an espionage feel to it. Sounds good to me, will bargain bin it when I eventually pick up Wii U

It is what it is. You think its harsh get in the industry and the critiques we give each other are even harsher.

And something of note, this will most probably be released on other platforms as well-
“But a more important question for many may be whether the Director’s Cut will ever make its way to PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. Of course, the GamePad-specific features will remain exclusive to Nintendo’s console, but there seems no reason why much of the additional content, such as the director’s commentary, integrated DLC and improved boss battles, couldn’t be sold to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers. Dugas says he can’t comment on that at the moment. We shall see.”

So fans of 2011 game should wait for a few months to get this on their gaming console/PC of choice. Same happened with Ninja Gaiden 3 Directors cut too.

Good news, more games is what WiiU needs, specially improved ones, too bad i did got this on my ps3, but if i find it cheap i will get it just to support the console.
@17 Dont you know the only ones that took pleasure here putting down other consoles are the nintendo “zealots” AKA the nintendo defense force
