I was a huge fan of all the previous Assassin’s Creed games. Bought them all new on day one. So, AC3 was the first time I ever bothered buying the season pass for a game. Thought it would be cool to have this little trilogy of DLC after I was done with the main game. Never dreamed I would play less than 2 hours of AC3, get bored with it, and never return.

Later, when “The Tyranny of King Washington” came out, I decided to give it ago. I mean, I bought it already- why not give it a shot? Laggy frame rates, stiff controls and glitches made the experience last all of about 20 mins. I can’t imagine ever going back and playing this version ever again. Good news is, I’m never buying a season pass for anything ever again.

I also bought the season pass to AC3 100% the main campaign really enjoyed it overall but haven’t gone back to it since the pivot and homestead trophies where glitched.
Just felt jaded after that about the whole thing.

I might go back and finish up on the last two trophies and start the DLC story missions in the summer when there’s fuck all out but honestly… If I’d traveled to AC3 launch day and told myself all this I’d probably wouldn’t believe me. I was so hyped going in…

    Shame.

@1 Then be patient and buy the fucking game after reviews and gameplays are rounded up. I see people saying this is BORING but it was FUN. I enjoyed it at the same level that I enjoyed ACII and I don’t regret buying Season Pass and Deluxe edition. I still play the game it is a re-playable title up to the 100%, because, frankly, after that there isn’t much you can actually do.

Also that Eurogamer review: WHAT A MESS!
